Session Style Guides
Let's be honest! The number one questions us photographers get asked is, "What should I wear to my session?!"
Well, here we will give you an in depth guide to help you choose the best clothing pieces to wear to your next photoshoot that will make you feel as comfortable and confident as you can be!

Wardrobe Tips
Neutral Colors
Neutral colors are always my go to for ANY photoshoot! Neutrals create a timeless and classic look that will cause a light and airy feel. I would opt for creams, beige, light tans, and even light greens
Blacks
While dark colors can be sliming in person, on camera they can actually do the opposite. Colors like black, burgundy, dark green, etc. can be great to create a moody feel but, keep the silhouette in mind.
Pop of Color
Bright colors can sometimes wash you out and take away focus from the subjects facial expressions. Rather than going for a very bright color, opt for adding pops of colors in your accessories.
Prints & Patterns
Unless you are doing a creative shoot, we recommend staying away from crazy, and bright, patterns. These cause distortion in portraits. Small patterns can be okay however, it would be best to ask your photographers opinion.
Confidence is Key
It's crucial to prioritize your confidence and comfort when it comes to clothing. Instead of trying to fit into clothes, focus on finding pieces that fit you well. Additionally, choosing items that showcase your unique personality is important for feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin.
